Rewind to summer of 2010. I am one year into community college, 18 years old and have never had a real job. Got some good friends though, a friend whose father owns a very special manufacturing company. My First Job Ever: On the painting team for the life-size promotional Halo Reach statues. See pic above. In order to get into work every morning at 7, I had to take three buses from my house, and get up at 4:30 in the morning, but every day I was grateful. Many days I got goosebumps, even. I sent an email thanking the webmaster years ago, but never got a reply, so here's another shout-out. On my first trip to Bungie last Monday, I had another amazing coincidental encounter, one which still makes me giddy as a schoolgirl, but I will post that if this thread gets off the floor. Please post any awesome occurrences at meet-ups, conventions, etc. I'd love to hear how else Bungie has touched the community. Edit: Yes, that's an air freshener on my keychain. That warehouse got stuffy in the heat!
