Scenario: When a group member (non-admin) posts a private thread within a group that does not allow non-admins to post public threads for the group, group admins have the ability to edit that OP and make it a public thread. However, once this happens, the group admins lose their ability to edit the OP, including their ability to make it a non-public thread. And because the group doesn't allow non-admins to make public thread, nor does the non-admin member who created the thread have the ability to remove the thread from public view.
Expectation: SOMEONE should have the ability to remove the thread from public view, whether that be the group admin that made it so, or the OP.
CORRECTION: apparently group admins retain power when they edit from within the group, but not from the public forums. That's a bit confusing, but at least there's a way.
