And so far, it's pretty unanimous that they all love it. They say it caters to fans old and new, and despite what we've seen, is a thinking man's game, and screwing up now is still very easy.
And for you purists, there's a difficulty called Perfectionist, where Mark and Execute is turned off, you can't melee enemies from the front, and the goggles won't let you see through walls. The AI difficulty is also increased, as expected.
