I realize that to get max amount of points in a level, you need to get Silent Assassin, but, eing new to the series, I didn't realize that you cant even pacify them if you want to get max points. I thought that I could since pacifying and hiding the body cancelled each other out in terms of points, so I thought that it wouldn't affect it.
One thing that never made sense is that you are a professional Hitman, and you are deducted points from doing anything other than sneaking and killing the target (which includes enemies that are shooting at you). I never got the fact that you are deducted points for killing enemies.
Another thing that bothered me, is that if you and a person were completely secluded in a room together and you snuck up on them and shot them in then back of the head, killing them instantly, you get a huge SPOTTED alert i the middle of the screen and deducted several thousand points, even though there is no way that the person could have spotted you whiile getting shot in the head from behind.

Absolution was a big step down from Blood money, that's for certain.

The true assassin leaves no trail and only his target affected. Stealthier and more skillful. On shooting someone and being spotted, are you using a silenced weapon or not? If so, you shouldn't get the spotted alert. If not, well there's your problem.
