PETA, an animal rights activist group, proclaimed Monday the "lack of moral the overly-violent game portrays," showing "little humanity to the lives of fish and the importance of animal care."
A study taken by CNS News showed that over 96% of all ME2 players who chose to buy fish in the in-game market failed to feed them in between missions, and consequently, all of their fish starved to death.
"It's really annoying." ME2 players speak out against the necessity of such details to create a realistic game. "I mean, come on! Really? I spent thousands of credits on those fish!" Players insist they, "were just trying to make their cabin look nice," and had "little to no clue they would die so quickly."
With the controversy at hand, Bioware has refused this interview.

*goes back to shooting Pyjacks on Tuchanka*

Can we just round up every PETA and Westboro Baptist Church member and shoot them? Would any noraml person actually care? If they whole killing them thing has problems then we can just ship them to Antarctic. I would say Siberia, but I don't think Russia would want those retards in their county.

But have they tried the fish in the Presidium? Delicious!
-
I remember when they were bitching about one of Mario's power up(raccoon suit I believe) and said it encouraged killing raccoons or something to that degree no clue how anyone can take them seriously when they say stuff like that

Edited by JackTheCreeper: 12/10/2013 7:53:56 PMI bought the automatic fish feeder, like a good owner would of course. Edit: Like a responsible owner would. I knew I was going to be out saving the galaxy from all sorts of calamities, so I knew I wouldn't have time to feed my fish.
-
For the record, I fed my fish. I'm not to blame here.

This sammich needs sauce.

I think that when I eventually had a surplus of credits, I bought the fish and the automatic feeder.
-
Good thing I kept them fed.

Edited by Dustin: 2/6/2013 5:18:35 AMI can't believe I fooled, what must have been, over 60% of the people in this thread.

I still remember PETA's attempts mat taking down Pokemon. It's like they enjoy making themselves look like crackpots.
-
Nobody takes PETA seriously anymore anyways. They could actually be right about something and nobody would know because they're just a bunch of loonies.
-
Can I get some sauce with this?
-
Good thing I got Kelly to feed them.
-
Yea my virtual fish sure did live some very productive and influential lives.
-
Lol....seriously?
-
...I didn't even know that ME2 had fish that you could buy. Well, at the very least, I don't remember it. If I bought any, they're so totally dead by this point.
-
Some sauce would be nice.
-
Edited by Mehmed V: 2/5/2013 3:29:37 PMGuilty as charged. I intentionally kill my fish! (in ME2 of course)
-
Thank you for that reliable source.
-
Nice try, but you didn't get me. Those other guys though? Well played.
-
How can you be so....stupid?
-
With Peta, I can't tell if this topic is fake or real.

-blam!-ing PETA always sticking their noses in non of their business
