PETA, an animal rights activist group, proclaimed Monday the "lack of moral the overly-violent game portrays," showing "little humanity to the lives of fish and the importance of animal care."
A study taken by CNS News showed that over 96% of all ME2 players who chose to buy fish in the in-game market failed to feed them in between missions, and consequently, all of their fish starved to death.
"It's really annoying." ME2 players speak out against the necessity of such details to create a realistic game. "I mean, come on! Really? I spent thousands of credits on those fish!" Players insist they, "were just trying to make their cabin look nice," and had "little to no clue they would die so quickly."
With the controversy at hand, Bioware has refused this interview.
