After this beta hit, I've noticed some people who I used to think of as just popular b.net members have been contributing to the now allowed political and religious threads and posting in a manner I didn't see before. Most of the time I'll just be skimming through the religious threads reading the buttmad on there, but I do enjoy getting involved in the political threads (always have) and I've noticed that a few people who used to be calm and collected on b.old have taken a bottle of upset rumpus pills with a large troll smoothie.
Personally, I don't think I've changed much with the update. I'm getting involved in the same hotly debated threads as usual with the same demeanor.
Anyone want to share about if you've changed your posting habits?

I'm probably a little more open than on the old site, but I get to post more too instead of looking for rule-breakings all the time. Plus, this update is a fun adventure :)
-
I quite like reading about peoples views on religion and their beliefs, its interesting, so sometimes I like to comment too. I wouldnt say I change my usual tone though since i dont really feel that strongly towards what other people should or shouldn't believe, its just interesting to talk about it sometimes. I would say most people on here manage to comment about religion without getting too worked up about it either.
-
I have not really noticed any difference. Both in other users, and myself. Though I don't typically pay attention to such things. I intentionally ignore the inane political and religious threads (because I don't have to set an arbitrary set of moral standards for anyone else anymore). If I did, perhaps I would notice a difference. I don't though, so...I don't? What were we talking about?
-
I don't know if I have. I s'pose maybe. That's up to other people, really.
-
My posting habits have changed in the sense that I now post significantly less.
-
The only thing that's changed wither is that my avatar is no longer an option. >:/
-
I'm sure the mythics miss their blues... I miss the dark background with bright font... I can't get on b.net at 10pm now without lighting up the room. I post less but will be more active as i get more excited and rage watching Pax Prime registration.
-
I'm still lurking but posting more i think.
-
This is my first time one in weeks. I didn't adjust well. I'm ere cause of the second community theater.
-
I'm as sarcastic as I was two years ago, maybe a little more.
-
I haven't been on here for a while until Tuesday and I honestly don't like the change. I wouldn't know if people haven't changed because now I don't go one the forums, it was fine before.
-
I haven't changed one bit. I still don't, and never will get involved with a religious thread.
-
Pre-occupied with more life stuff than before, but I guess I'm the same just post a lot less. I usually visit private groups then follow-up with the mains. Since I now barely check the former due to collective inactivity, I feel less inclined to check the latter... Sorry guys :(

Who am I?

Edited by moofant: 2/7/2013 1:54:10 AMI don't think I shall.. but the removal of titles will rustle some egos btw your op was hilarious nicely written edit: this is my first post on this -blam- .. and comments arent chronological wtf is this edit2: apparently there isn't an automatic language filter either rofl
-
I honestly have no idea what you are talking about I still post the same stuff as I did before the update.
-
Well, I guess I've noticed more intelligent discussions around here.
-
If I'm on this list of people who may have changed, I will say that I very casually went to Bungie.old a few months before the update. In that time I became an angry feminist bent on spewing my rage across the forums. Bite me. <3
-
For some reason I feel as I've been more tolerant with people and not such a sarcastic bastard as I used to be. I feel as we as a community have grown a bit. (minus the religious and political threads, which are good to stay out of)
-
I just have not been on as much. Busy with work.
-
I haven't changed. I don't think..
-
I used to post much more in private groups but alas... Bnext killed the private groups, at least for me. My peeps from groups I'm in simply do not check back as often.
-
They just controlled themselves back then, now they don't have to. I've muted/hid a lot of "prominent" posters from .Old
-
Well it's easier to say what you want now since the only penalty is getting muted by the person who is buttmad.
-
I've changed to pretty much not posting at all. I just have no interest in a discussion that I can't follow in chronological order, especially in a place that I once did.
-
Meh. I don't feel like many of people have changed to be honest. I still think I post the same. Just tip toeing around glass, like usual.
