Or are you one of those troglodytes that's incapable of doing anything for yourself?
-
Edited by TURRETS: 2/8/2013 3:33:34 PMNope. I'm one of those troglodytes you mentioned. But really why is driving an automatic such a bad thing? Makes life a heck of a lot easier for me.
-
Is auto that big of a thing in the US? Most of us just learn manual by default over here.
-
Yes, I competitively race bro.
-
It will be useful tomorrow in the snow
-
R=Racing gear?
-
You are such a fucking elitist that it pisses me off.
-
Keep trying to get my parents to teach me but honestly, I'm probably only going to drive automatic when I get my own car so I've laid off of it as of late.
-
The R is top left in my 6-speed (with a collar-pull to enter it), but yes.
-
Yep, automatics aren't so common in the UK. I'll probably always stick with manual transmission.
-
I can drive a manual just as well as I can an automatic.
-
Never drove a manual, my mother and father don't own one. I've had the same car for 6 years now and it's an automatic.
-
Nope; It's the 21st century and I'm comfortable with the size of my penis. #LogicalPhallusee
-
Yup, taught to drive a manual in winter on ice, before i was allowed to touch an auto. Three of my cars have been manual, my current isnt, but i smell a rat rod coming in my future soon.
-
Nope. I've tried to drive a manual, but it never really clicked.
-
Edited by Love Sosa: 2/7/2013 6:46:40 PMYes. but I prefer auto-manual Also people who think they are cool for driving a manual are the most annoying people.
-
I had the reverse on the left hand side, if you don't drive manual in the UK your end up being the butt of jokes.
-
i hope to never buy an automatic in my life.
-
I learnt in a manual and will always drive a manual unless the car I want most is unavailable in a manual transmission. Manual master race. Sadly only have a 5-speed at the moment because it's only a 1.2L Eurobox, as Daft calls it. VW Polo to anyone else. Hopefully clearing a payment for the A3 I've seen though, which is a 6-speed 2.0L turbo. Woah yeah baby.
-
Yes. Bought a '97 Audi A4, worst mistake of my life, not realizing it was stick. Previous owner had to drive it to my home and we drove him back in the old car. I now can drive stick.
-
nope. my auto drives just fine
-
Driving is about getting from point A to point B. What type of transmission I have is irrelevant to anyone except me.
-
Edited by Cobravert: 2/7/2013 6:14:55 PMMy current car has a T-3650 and I grew up helping my Dad with his semis that had a 13 speed. So yeah, I do. You ever drove a car with 3 on the tree?
-
Brake slightly when wanting to shift gears, how hard could it be... I can't drive either way -__-
-
Yes, I have a 69 Renault Estaffette. The transmission is inverted.
-
Yep, used to have a manual truck.
-
Yes I can. I'm still a bit new at it but I can do it ok. I just have a problem over thinking it and stalling every once in awhile.
