Probably old news here, but if you recall Iran's announcement that they had a new stealth fighter that could "evade radar" designed for deterrence (lolk), it turns out they were totally bullshitting us...again. Here are the relevant pictures:

And in another, you can see that the pilot doesn't even fit in the cockpit:

Also, notice the air intakes...intakes on the top of a jet make flight almost impossible.
And, no shit, they put a "remove before flight" tag (like ones that are in battery cases of cheap electronics so their batteries don't get used up on the shelf) on their engine nozzle:

So, in conclusion, they made a plastic model that appears to be of 1:2 scale and isn't even aerodynamically sound, just to show off technology that has been obsolete for 40 years. It's being nicknamed the "Barbie Jet".

Edited by FoMan123: 2/8/2013 6:30:11 PMLOL, a brand new state-of-the-art stealth fighter with a control stick duct taped to the floor, car electronics, no ejection seat, entirely made out of shiny plastic, no throttle, and no HUD. Seems legit. On another note, this string of fakeness from Iran is reminiscent of the kind of propaganda that was coming out of the USSR just before it fell. Maybe this is a good thing :-)
