Going through some of the different forums on the internet, I've seen a lot of musicians post about problems they have with breaking/damaging their equipment. So, I proudly stand before you with the claim that I have never broken a string on my guitar (been playing for three years) and I've never broken a drum stick--hickory, nylon, and http://images.guitarcenter.com/products/optionLarge/ProMark/DV016_Jpg_Large_443401_z2.jpg]these babies
So, friends, how long does your equipment last? Do you treat it gently, like a fine Italian woman, or do you smack it around and relish its screams of terror as you beat it until it dies? And how proud are you? hahaha

My cousin was in several bands and had a collection of bases. When I was 14 he loaned me one of his Gibson EB3L long necks and a tubed amp. I had it for about 12 years before returning it. But I cared for that thing like it was a precious gem and returned it as nice as the day I received it.
