I don't understand why one gender has to sign up while the other does not. Women are even getting in combat roles now, so why not both? Even before then there are still plenty of non-combat roles. In draft time it seems like every bit of help is needed.
Also for any women on the flood, how would you feel about it?
I doubt the draft will come back, but it seems a bit biased.

In a time of great national crisis, when a draft would actually be necessary, it means our nation or our allied society faces imminent and catastrophic peril, and it's very possible that we would need healthy young women to bolster our population afterwards. The argument against putting women in combat roles is corollary to that statement.
