Gather ‘round folks, as we gaze into the minds of our fellow community members. We’re on week two of this community mailsack I like to call the “Communisack”. Contrary to apparent thought, this is no mail sack for communist, even thought they are more than welcome to participate. Now, without further a due let’s introduce this week’s panel:
Antony X1000 – Number enthusiast
M94 Mushroom Man – Codename: Mario
Spawn – Superhero Badass
Erac2detsaw2 – Pro wrestler
Before you we start I must notify you of two things:
1) They didn’t pick those titles
2) The panel may seem slim this week, and I apologize for that. I notified the panel yesterday but sadly not all of them reported back. Next week we will have a larger panel for sure.
So, let’s get down to it!
Antony X1000 - How did you first discover Bungie.net?
One year, I won an Xbox in a raffle. Later that year, my brother came home, with Halo 3, and we played some multiplayer for awhile, which was a blast. Later, I looked at Bungie.net to check the stats for the games, and I instantly became addicted.
M94 Mushroom Man
I think I first saw it in mentioned in Halo 3. I decided to visit the site and looked at my stats, eventually making an account to get the Septagon nameplate for the game.
Antony X1000
Playing Halo CE with a friend. We found the website URL on the back cover of the disc case and got curious. Imagine if it was anything besides bungie.net.
Spawn
Back when I first heard about Halo 2 I looked on the back of my copy Halo for information. I saw Bungie developed it and typed in Bungie.com in my address bar. Eventually after probably too much effort I ended up here!!
Erac2detsaw2
Jailbot - In the spirit of summer, what's your favorite 4th of July meal?
Chicken.
M94 Mushroom Man
Ribs, beer and water skiing with friends. The formula for creativity.
Spawn
I love formulas!
I'd have to say burgers and beer.
Erac2detsaw2
PVSpartanL36 - What's at the top of your bucket list?
Skydive.
M94 Mushroom Man
Real men jump from outer space.
Complete the Ironman Triathlon.
Spawn
That is a great question. Right now it's wrestling a wild alligator. Strange I know.
Erac2detsaw2
You and I could be friends, I want to wrestle a grizzly bear with a combat knife.
ECOH Cam - What was your favorite Super Bowl commercial? Because nobody cared about the game, right?
There was a game?
I didn't watch the superbowl.
M94 Mushroom Man
GoDaddy. Only to see the look of disaster from my siblings.
Spawn
I actually didn't catch too many Super Bowl commercials. I was exhausted from moving and concentrating more on my bucket of beer and these two girls I met. I knew I was missing something though!!
Erac2detsaw2
You were keeping a close eye on them because they were trying to take your beer, right?
AxJARxOFxDIRT - You are in a deep dark hole with no escape in sight but you remember that you brought one thing with you. What did you bring?
Night-vision goggles.
M94 Mushroom Man
A teleporter. It didn't have to be something that actually exists, did it?
Antony X1000
An elevator.
Spawn
My camping bag that I keep para cord, a knife, and some other survival supplies in.
Erac2detsaw2
DeeJ - What is your favorite new power on Bungie.next? How has it changed your experience as a member of the Seventh Column?
Well…..this is weird. The mail man dropping off a letter? This a paradox. We all know mail men deliver their own mail..
Um... notifications are really the only new thing in Bungie.net that I use, so... that?
M94 Mushroom Man
The ability to mute users. Although I haven't actually made use of it yet, it is always there if i feel the need. It should make the site a more civil place.
Antony X1000
Mute and hide function. Thank you webteam for allowing me to silence those who disturb the peace without them knowing it.
Spawn
The ability to mute/hide people. If I'm finding someone annoying or rude I don't have to actively ignore them anymore. That makes my time here that much more enjoyable.
Erac2detsaw2
M94 Mushroom Man - Favorite member here, excluding employees, mods, and yourself?
Time for some shout outs, eh?
Lobster Fish 2, I guess.
M94 Mushroom Man
*Insert one of the friends who will be expecting me to say them here*
Antony X1000
I don't pick favorites, only ones that create good content.
Spawn
Kappus 000 - What makes you not finish a game?
If it's just plain not fun, or too difficult, or too easy, of if it's just not my kind of game (like RTSs or JRPGs
M94 Mushroom Man
The number one reason for me not finishing games is probably that I played them when I was younger. I always used to just mess around, instead of doing whatever I was supposed to. More recently, I only leave games unfinished if I find them too difficult or boring.
Antony X1000
I just lost the game.
Spawn
Well, that concludes this week’s Communisack. I hope you enjoyed this week’s panel and questions, be sure to drop a question on Tuesday for a chance to be on the panel! Remember, as long as you guys keep the questions coming and enjoy this I'll keep em' coming.

It makes me feel so OLD when I hear of someone learning about Bungie through Halo 3. Even worse when they say ODST. But the good news is, that they learned of it, and a diverse group of people makes life more interesting. Not always better, just more interesting. Keep these going. If DeeJ fails to keep us entertained, we will do fine ourselves. I guess you could consider the community like a little kid. Leave it alone for long enough, and it will keep it self happy.
