So the image on the right is a bunch of pixels right? To my understanding, there's some locations that do not have pixels on them. By getting a ton of people in a variety of locations on the globe viewing that page simultaneously, the pixels "sweep" about, touching everywhere save for a few key areas that spell out the URL to the image on the left. It's not always a number string, once it was a QR code.
