Think back, way back, back to the time when "First" had some semblance of petty significance. Oh wait, that was a few weeks ago... In any case, I thought it interesting to mention that Urk got the very last post in the old Bungie.net, a website that saw the fruition of over eight years of gamers, all having fun while trying to avoid the ninjas. So what, might you wonder, is the point of this nostalgia? I thought it prudent to make a thread where users could share their fondest (or worst) memories from the old days of Bungie.net.

Actually, it was RunningTurtle.

I'd be surprised if people didn't know this fact. Anyways, I had some pretty epic threads in the flood and the community forum back on Bungie.Old. Master Chief is having coworker issues with Cortana. *ShakesHeadChucklingInNostalgia*

My 'Are video games art?' debate in the community forum is what comes to mind. I felt so cool.

First time getting really contributing in a thread, started to nag about people being stupid and made a mention that the Ninjas were not staying on top of things. Then someone, can't remember the member, mentioned that they should give moderator "powers" to individual members. That got me excited. Started thinking, Gee, I couldz be a mod! But then got put in my place by someone else. That member I hated at the time, but now and thankful that the rebuking was sharp but swift. Realizing that now I don't' want the "powers", nor would be able to properly wiled them. One last thing, the past is great for nostalgia, but the future/present is so much better. Thank you Web Team for the Mute function.
