Just don't feel the same. I understand the direction they are going in, and yeah it's totally necessary for the new platform they are launching with Destiny - but the old forums were perfect. Everything from the flood, the ranks, the people.
The closest thing I can explain these forums as are an intense twitter, but way less personal (which is funny because it seems like that the the opposite of what they are going for).
Anyone else with me?
Edit: I do like it, overall. I trust that Bungie knows what's best! This isn't as much of a complaint as it's just a calling for people in the same boat as me who haven't been around for a while.

Edited by SquallLeonF: 2/18/2013 2:57:28 AMI agree with you. I've been browsing the Bungie forums on and off since they updated them and I just can't get used to it. It's much harder to follow along conversations and everything is very non-forumish. During the ARG, I kept looking on B.net for updates but I couldn't find any. I think the current forum design discourages discussions and that's what's pushing people away. It could be nostalgia, but I was completely open and ready for the B.net forum changes. I thought they were great at first, but over time I have come to the realization that I just don't like the new layout. (even if I disagree with the topics on that front page)
