After watching the reveal on IGN. They indicated that there will be no PC version. Why? No PC version won't stop me from playing the game, but I just feel they will be missing out on potentially thousands maybe millions who only play on the PC. Hopefully the next generation of consoles is powerful enough to give the experience that Bungie wants because lets face it the current gen is reaching its limits.

Edited by the killmaker: 2/18/2013 6:10:38 AMIt's kind of strange that there wont be a PC release, considering their big 10 year cycle thing. PC gamers support the games they love for longer than most people live. -edit- Sorry, I figured I wouldn't have to point out that the above is an extreme hyperbole for the sake of hilarity. My point was that people still play games like Freelancer (released 2003) regularly, and there are always plenty people working to keep their favorite games compatible with each new iteration of Windows or Mac OS, whereas backwards compatibility is generally shoddy on consoles. In short, if I bought Destiny on PC this year, I will be able to play that same copy of the game ten years from now without having to drag out old hardware. Hopefully backwards compatibility on consoles becomes more common. Also, I just realized that Freelancer is 10 years old, and I have it on my PC right now. (I know what I'm doing tonight!)
