what is destiny rated?
if anybody knows any information on destiny's rating please share

Officially as per the Bungie weekly update, Destiny is T for Teen - just like Halo always should have been.

1 Replywell by examining the rating on previous bungie games Im assuming that it is rated M because of the violence and the weaponry bring very resemblance to actual weaponry

Most likely Teen. Unless there's any kind of gore past blood.

Bungie is aiming for a "T" rating, and after seeing videos of game play and looking at ESRB, I would assume that it will be rated T. For a game to be rated M, the following must be prevalent: intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language. This is from ESRB's website. The game showed fantasy violence, no blood, (and what I saw of it) no sexual content or language. For a T game: violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language. So of the clues we have now, and if ESRB is true to their grading system, it should (in my humble opinion) be rated T.

I think destiny should be teen I'm 13 and I would love to play the game and also get it with out having to convince my mom for 45 minuets on why its M and how it's not a bad game show her videos and it's just all to much I would like it to be teen is I don't have to go thru all of that and it's a good game these guys made halo one of the biggest xbox games in history of course the hand is going to be great these guys are experts on this type of thing but still I whant a fair rate ing of the but I also want it to be teen

2 RepliesI actually heard a rumor that it would be rated Teen. Not positive on that one though, it could likely be Mature.

Halo games have been traditionally been rated M/PEGI 16, so I believe Destiny will be the same; but they can't rate it until the full game is made.
