I'm not sure if this is due to how disappointed I am with the console version of Crysis 3, or I am just flat out loosing my motivation to continue writing and producing reviews. Maybe both?
I will speak the truth, I am flat out ENRAGED with how bad the console port of Crysis 3 is! The garbage framerate, the washed out low res textures all take away from what appears to be a decently well done game. It has a story with some heart! The characters are not inhuman killing machines that you cannot sympathies with and the environments look jaw dropping on the PC.
Crysis 3 appears to be soulless. It is lacking in real thrilling gameplay that the first games and Crysis 2 had. Maybe this is due to my experience being destroyed my the frames and the blurry textures that make EVERYTHING IMPOSSIBLE to see because your field of view is so narrow!!!
In my mind, I know that I should at least right a review to warn you guys of the Console port. I just cant seem to muster up the energy to do it. Much less create a video review.
What do you guys think? Am I loosing tough? Or is it just the emotional weight of this game coming down on me?

Interesting I really loved the beta and got my k/d up to around 4 before it ended. Man I dominated that game and had a blast. Still need to go out and buy it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't having a problem with it. I thought it was just me falling out of enjoying shooters anymore. xD'' But it does feel...off. I've not really enjoyed it at all. Can't play it on my computer either.

Crysis 3 is not ported well for the current gen of consoles, it's using way too little RAM. It's not your fault, just wait til the next gen comes out, it'll be way better.
-
What about the PC version? I might go pick this up for my computer if it is good. I did like Crysis 2, but honestly haven't looked too into Crysis 3.
-
Well, I did it. I really wanted to like this game like I did the other so much. But in the end I just came away too angry to let it slide.
-
This might be because Crysis 3 is limited to using 512MB of RAM on consoles. When it was designed to use at the very minimum 3GB to run smoothly on PCs

Edited by TopWargamer: 2/22/2013 5:37:55 PMIt's the game Brute. You're a fine writer and make great videos. You've already expressed why you can't write up a review or make a video for Crysis 3...ok...move on.

I would say it has it's emotional part! If something like that happend to me, I think I would be the same as you. Mad, disappointed, and some what sad because the game or company I trusted and believed so much in has failed to deliver what it promised! Or at least infered! You should not let one game alone take away your motivation! It's part of our nature as Gamers to come through these hard times, be those hard times in game or in real life!

Yea I really didn't like the crysis 3 beta on 360. It was exactly how you described it. Bland, ugly, and just a chore to play.

Edited by welderman adam: 2/22/2013 3:21:08 PMI like and respect your reviews. I only trust one other place for reviews, and you said exactly what they said. Keep up the good work. Like Big Boss said, Try Metal Gear Rising out. It's the same folk who made Bayonetta from what I gathered, and just a tonne of mindless fun, from what I hear. I'm buying it. Keep up the good work! I look foreward to your posts, and trust your reviews. Chin up, and thanks for the good reads.

Try playing some Metal Gear Rising to take your mind off things.
