That would be awesome if one could gain the level of notoriety of Boba Fett as being a deadly bounty hunter that roams the galaxy.

I think i also brought this up before. It looks like the perfect setting for bounties. I wanna be a space cowboy.

Would be good. Though it may get messy if people party up to hunt down lone wolf players.

16 RepliesThe type of "Bounty" system has not been fully announced. So anything stated should be taken with a huge grain of salt. According to the one shot of it in the ViDoc, I think the "Bounty" system is more single players or co-op versus the game AI and not against other players as most people would assume. As I said though, these are my own suspicions.

1 ReplyBounty hunting would make this game something next to perfect, considering that Bungie keeps their promises about this game, which I am sure they will. After all, one of the most prominent quotes in the Halo trilogy is as follows: "Don't make a girl a promise, if you know you can't keep it."

Hitman for hire ... sound great (provided Activision dont want their cut of the transaction fee). Forget rage quitting ... put out a contract hit on that jerk. Imagine the feeling of joy watching 3 bounty hunters all competing for the hit in your game.

1 ReplyI'd really like it if we could place bounties on people that annoy us but have a fairly high minimum price to avoid people putting bounties on people for no real reason. Although there'd need to be places in the openworld segments where pvp is allowed like runescapes wilderness. But yeah it'd be so fun to get a couple of mates to surround someone and either claim their bounty or ask them to give you something so you won't kill them.
