To use Johnny Cash's words "Yes I know when Jesus saved me.... I was there when it happened, and so I guess I ought to know"
I stand with many others and say that we truly can feel God's presence. Just because you have not felt it, does not mean it isn't real. I have not seen Disneyland, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that I have not yet been there.
I can understand why, if you have not encountered Him you may not believe. But you definitely can not tell me He doesn't exist. There is no scientific evidence against (or for) Him, so we cannot use science (in fact, there are many scientists who do believe in Him, even if not necessarily Christianity) we must use the legal system, which relies on what? Testify to His existence. There are several historical documents which are in accordance to the Bible, such as Hezekiah being mentioned in documents by Asyrians, Nehemiah's wall, Josephus' writings on Jesus, mentions of Jesus' miracles and "blasphemy" in the Talmud and so on.
I could go on, but I figure most readers are already running low on patience, so I will end here, despite having plenty more evidence for my claim. If you wish to look for more, I urge you to do so.
I speak from a Christian point of view, though my statement is this: I believe God exists, I have truly felt Him. I hope you also get to know Him, because from Him I have received great peace, joy, and love.
