In the ViDoc, it says that if we fail, that the last light of humanity will fade out. Now normally the goal of a game is to win in order to save or destroy something, but Bungie has made a terrible decision, they have given us the freedom to purposefully fail, and purposefully fail we shall!
I ask you Bungie community, when Bungie releases Destiny, will you fail and let humanity's last light fade out? I intend to, and I plan to see how Bungie combats our decision to purposefully completely change their story.
If you want to join a group to find people to fail with, join this group.

Reading the posts in this forum... humanity doesn't stand a chance.
-
So if I have to save mankind, does that mean spawn killing team members is out?
-
You're just trying to deceive us so New Monarchy can take over the Last City. I refuse this fate! DEAD ORBIT FOREVERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Bungie most likely said that to give you a moral reason not to die, and a bit of a story to ponder on as you wait to respawn. Though, it may be entertaining to watch you jump off the first cliff you see.

We shouldn't take all of their words into literal context. Oh wait? I mean.. Let's do this! When I boot up the game for the first time, I am going to kill myself! First priority! For canon!
-
I wondered if that could happen.
-
I wouldn't want to do that to Bungie. If we did that it could destroy bungie as a game studio.

Seems a bit maschistic...
-
if you "fail" you die, then respawn so there is no real "fail" Win or win not, there is no fail
-
If there are 4 Destiny games, how can you fail, yet?
-
Too bad because I'm going to DEFEND HUMANITY!!!!!!!
