Helping out the homeless? Giving people a place to stand? Doing good in this word? So long as it doesn't cost me a penny.
This mentality pisses me off. Why do people hate welfare? Because they have to chip in an extra ten or so dollars a month. God forbid you show some compassion. And yet we always toot the trumpet of "poverty is bad", and "goodwill toward all men on Earth". God, that's phony.
Anyone else agree?

I don't hate welfare, I hate the fact that people are allowed to abuse it. Why? Because, according to YOU, they have the right to leisure. Which apparently means people can get paid to sit on their ass and do drugs all day.
