Helping out the homeless? Giving people a place to stand? Doing good in this word? So long as it doesn't cost me a penny.
This mentality pisses me off. Why do people hate welfare? Because they have to chip in an extra ten or so dollars a month. God forbid you show some compassion. And yet we always toot the trumpet of "poverty is bad", and "goodwill toward all men on Earth". God, that's phony.
Anyone else agree?

Edited by Egerspurge: 2/27/2013 2:32:43 AMYOUR problems are exactly that. They're YOURS in the same way that MY money is MINE. Having MY tax money sent to crackhead suzy's 13 children isn't compassion, it's extortion. I shouldn't have to suffer because you suck at life.
