The amount of inaccurate knowledge of V[b]e[/b]rgil (NOT Virgil) in this thread is sad. Vergil was an AI made by Sadie's father to watch out and take care of her by accessing the city's resources such as cameras, local transportation, and etc. I'd say Vergil is better.

Cortana pre-Halo 4. Otherwise Virgil for not being annoying.

Cortana wins, hands down. She is a smart A.I. that has helped save the galaxy several times. I'm pretty Virgil is just a regular A.I. that helps with New Mombasa's functions.

I'm not sure you can compare the two very evenly, Cortana is one of the coolest AIs ever. Virgil was just an Engineer, they're all about the same but a cool race nonetheless.
