They're racist, deluded and Thalmor pawns. I cant think of any reason why someone would join them.
Why did you join the Stormcloaks?
-
I joined to fight the man, man.
-
Edited by A Cheese Potato: 10/30/2013 7:08:27 AMI joined the stormcloaks solely because the imperial armor makes you look like a massive tard
-
Because I wanted to fight for a man who yelled at another man and then that man came apart.
-
All right. It's time to deliver the final blow to the Stormcloak rebellion. You have all fought bravely, and sacrificed much to bring us to this point. Ulfric thinks he can hide behind the walls of his castle. But we will fight our way in and drag him out through the rubble to face justice. Because this is the end for them, the Stormcloaks will fight like cornered rats. They will be fierce and crafty. But they are no match for Legionnaires. You are the best and the brightest warriors in Tamriel. Professional soldiers, fearless and devastating. The Emperor will be paying close attention to what happens here today. Men who distinguish themselves will be well rewarded. Ready now! Everyone, with me! For the Empire! For the Legion!

New to the series, can't see the bigger picture, "HURR DURR VIKINGS", etc.
-
Because gaming is not that serious.
-
So I can name myself Luke Skywalker. :)
-
Because
#gaming
-
They also have worse armor and have an army comprised of uneducated peasants.
-
They looked cooler.
-
I don't know what all you nerds are raging about now. :I
-
I agree that they are racist in hindsight haha. And Ulfric is a big douche. Maybe just the theme of it. Can't quite peg it.
-
They're badasses. Imperials kind of annoy me to be honest. Plus, couldn't kick my habit of murdering everyone in the imperial city in Oblivion... Does that make me a bad person?

BEGINNING TRANSMISSION: (Low melodious hum.) Because I am one with land I use to traverse. Now I am as old and as true as the sky. ENDING TRANSMISSION:
-
I did it out of a feeling of kinship toward blond people with beards.
-
I played an hour of Oblivion. So far, that has been the entirety of my experience with TES.
-
For The Empire!!! Sorry I just had to, but anyway back to the subject, at first I played as a Stromcloak a couple of times and realized how racist they were and Ulfric is full of himself. That's when I joined the Legion.
-
Because being a rebel is badass. I wanted to kill the people ordered to behead me more importantly. Plus Ulfric was cool.
-
Because the Empire tried to kill me. Although Ulfric did turn out to be a dick.
-
They're feggets. Empire master race. I just wish the civil war had an effect in the actual game apart from those quests. I can't wait until the Empire turns around and stabs the Thalmor in the face (assuming General Tullius' bravado isn't just hot wind)
-
Skyrim sucked.
-
I didn't join those filthy Talos worshippers.
-
I never even started those quests because they were basically a forum war.
-
Cuz that way you can kill the people who tried to behead you in the first 5 minutes of the game
-
Because I hate the Empire.
