PVE (Player Versus Enviroment) in Destiny - List Your Ideas Inside

So many people who have played mmo's know that there is usually a hefty amount of PVE in the game. For me it was WoW, and when I used to play back in the day I was big on PVE. Nothing was more exilirating than going through boss fights having to perform certain tasks and every member being required to be aware, on their toes, know the boss fight, as well as be well equipped and a good player. So where my thought is going with this is would anyone like/enjoy a raid/dungeon system in Destiny? Granted if this would be in Id have a very tough time deciding to either PVP or do some raid-esque PVE. Espeially if theres endgame stuff similar to WoW. TL;DR would you like some raid-esque PVE in Destiny? As well as what are you hopes and aspirations for PVE material within Destiny? List of Ideas/Hopes: 25-man-raid-type game - Dictarium World Bosses - Valshock17 Dynamic Loot Areas - Lonely Azzassin 6 Man Group Content - LoneW0lf16 10 - 12 man content - stickman582 World Events - zellatron Safe/Not Safe Zones - TJP37 Lawless Zone - CrazzySnipe55 Solo-Able Harder Instances - Lonely Azzassin/Valshock17 Stealth Oriented PVE - stickman582 Dynamic Encounters - Euphorius

  • I've played WoW, and other mmo style games and found that they work really well for pc, but it is not something I want for an action fps, despite the ability for groups and mmo style community they'd be able to implement. Personally I hope that this game will not alienate lone wolf style gaming. I love playing with friends and randoms, but far too often do I see the potential for good lone wolf gameplay killed by the overemphasis of the massive mmo groups and raids. My personal vision for a game like this would be having areas like enemy camps and patrols, but make them tough, real tough. Make the fight one that you might not want to engage in, make the player question the choice of mindlessly wiping out a squad of enemies. Perhaps you do team up with a buddy and take out a small camp with ease. Should there even be anything there but scraps? Why would tons of money or awesome weapons be standard issue for our enemies camps? Should killing an enemy camp even be worth the ammunition? I think that a world where charging in and blasting a poultry wave of enemies is, in my mind, not a very compelling world to explore, to fight for and defend, to risk my character's life to save or take back. If charging in and dying has no penalty, then I see no reason not to just bum rush every enemy I see. My accomplishments would be trivial, and so would my experience. I want to be able to play alone, but I also want to be able to benefit from having/making friends in the game. 25 people on xbox live or Psn is a tough crowd to handle, even 10 is tough to speak to when you have a keyboard at your disposal. Point being, 10 and 25 (not to even mention 40) man areas and group quests exclude many players, some people play mmos just for the leveling. I know this. I've done it. But it hurts to be excluded by even the game itself when you don't have the best gear and honed skills. Raids and dungeons can split communities and make playing a chore. I just don't want my experiences limited because I don't feel like taking the time to grind for gear. There's my 2 cents, do with it what you will.
