The industry as a whole has been driven to almost a standstill in regards to shooting games- devs rather be safe than get attacked by the CoD loving hoards. To be honest, what Gibson describes is similar to how Halo 4 approached a CoD dominated market- by CoDing it up. The fact that we are complaining about it being 'CoD-ed up' proves that there is still room in the market for games that aren't like Call of Duty, which I hope 343i takes note of in their next game. I hope that he mold is soon broken by some dev...
