I wonder what the DLCs for Destiny will be, I think one will be a replica of Master Chiefs armor from Halo 3.
I'm willing to hear what people think what the DLCs might be.

Overpriced, but hopefully not short.

I really bet that they will be a world expansion with new locales and missions. Anything else would seem cheap and a waste of time. People don't want items. They want experiences.

Yes there will be DLC's, infact there will be 1 DLC every from the of release up to 2020 well at least that's what the contract says but who knows contracts can change... did I awnser your question?

T-bag improvement

Crappy weapon skins.

I loved all of the Halo games but quite frankly i don't want to see any Halo-esque stuff in Destiny,i want Destiny to be...well Destiny and stand on it's on legs.

They've mentioned that every year between game releases they will have a Code-named "Comet" DLC released. I would imagine that based on how the players play the game and what people want they'd probably add like an Expansion Pack with new locations, missions, and weapons. Hopefully they are Large Expansions to the game worth the 20 bucks I expect to pay for them.

I think the DLC's will be like the Mass Effect 3 DLC's with completely new maps, worlds, and armor. Possibly a Master Chief armor, or a Cortana Easter egg, but I'm mostly hoping they'll have new enemies in each DLC, and Ship customizations

Well, each game is going to have an expansion pack one year after it comes out, but we obviously have no idea what that entails yet. If I had to guess, though, I'd say we'd get new missions and possibly new weapons/armor/ships/whatever.

If there are any, they will definitely be downloadable...
-
I don't think there will be any, and I'm fine with that.

Edited by tiedyepanda: 3/17/2013 8:00:50 PMMy hope is that the DLCs will be new planets/areas to explore, and possibly new character-customization options and weapons. I also agree with craZboy557's point that new weapons shouldn't be over-powered, or give any special advantage to a player that has them. As you can see, I think that the DLCs in Destiny will be different from other games. In COD and Halo it is always map packs and new weapons, so it will be interesting to see what Bungie will do. craZboy577's idea was good to a certain extent. I'm thinking that new missions will be released for free, in a regular manor (similar to Halo4's spartan ops) so that the story can be ever-continuing.

I'm thinking some cool missions, maybe some more story. I hope there's no special weapons though. Maybe some higher power stuff, but nothing like, all ubers. Maybe mid tier, and anything UU has to be really earned. Have the big lure be some more gameplay variation, exp, and more story.

1 i personally think this game should have nothing to do with halo even in little dlc and u cant really say anything about dlcs when they have barley told us about the actual game
-
that could happen but only on xbox since ms owns halo , could sell lots so it might happen , but its up to bungie and i believe they want to distance themselves from halo so dunno , i think dlcs will be heavily history based since its a 10 year project what weapons and armors or skins itll include we have to wait and see
