What form will competitive multiplayer in Destiny take?
Anybody wondering just how competitive multiplayer will fit into Destiny? What's your idea?
My thought is that there will be the regular death-match and simple objective game-types, but I'm getting a bit tired of that. Bungie seems like just the right group to pull off something more involved. Any thoughts?

Edited by DEZARATH: 3/18/2013 2:37:47 AMMy initial thoughts are you're going to have to opt into PVP in setting by turning on the ability for other players to kill you for starters. If they're really going seamless then there might be regions that are especially marked for PVP and specialized missions each team has to embark on. For Arena Combat I could see a gladiatorial maps being accessed in the city. Should be interesting to see. So long as the Competitive remember Destiny is a Social Co-Op against the Ai and nerfing guns and removing magic sorta sucks in firefight and anything PVE.
