T4R.
Don't particularly care about the genre, either.

Edited by A 3 Legged Goat: 3/18/2013 9:44:12 AMThe 3DS launched to rocky sales and general public apathy mainly because nobody wanted to pay $250 USD for a system with lousy games. But since the price slash, Nintendo has been slowly but surely building up the content roster for the 3DS. Along with the recent release of the upgraded 3DS XL, there are a lot of supposedly good games that are out right now or will be coming out: Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Starfox 64 3D Kid Icarus Uprising Kingdom Hearts 3D Pokemon X/Y Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity (if the MD games are your speed) Animal Crossing New Leaf (if you enjoyed the first) Mario Kart 7 (I thought the first was fun) Resident Evil Revelations Rayman 3D is one I'd try, but it wasn't as acclaimed as Rayman Origins New Super Mario Bros 2 (not a fan personally) The next Super Smash Bros is also slated to be both on the Wii U and the 3DS, and there've been rumors of another Metroid game too. To quote an article, "the best video game systems are, quite simply, the systems that have the best games. In 2013, that's the 3DS". It's safe to say that 2013 is the year of the 3DS. It's a really good investment right now, but if you're upgrading from a DS Lite or a DSi (or maybe buying a DS for the first time), most people would suggest that you get the 3DS XL. The design more resembles the DS Lite with 2-tiers instead of 3 and a more flush exterior. The buttons are similar and more defined than the original 3DS, the battery lasts longer, the screens are much bigger and brighter, and the positioning of certain things (Stylus, headphone jack, etc.) make more sense. The only advantage the 3DS has over it is portability (and the 3DS has an LED light when the 3D is engaged, unlike the newer model). I'm looking into one for this summer, and so far I've nearly settled on this one, as I've always been a sucker for the Pikachu consoles. But I may replace the white casing with black, because somebody doesn't know how to match colors correctly.
