Should humanity ban guns and weapons? Should the United States go first?
Do you think that if we banned guns an alien civilisation would make peaceful contact with us when they had observed that we were no longer violent savages?

4 RepliesCompletely? No. Law enforcement still needs them. Though it's kind of funny in a sad way that in some countries simply existing there means you need a gun to be or feel safe. But, that's probably the result of underlying socio-economic factors that nobody does anything about.
