We're making the game we want to play. We don't design toward a rating.

Word is bond

Dude we have all seen the contract........I think.
-
Insane, Deej just crushed you.
-
I will do anything to play destiny but I would like a T or a mature audiences because than you probably won't get people that play GTA
-
Please rate it T, gamers need a game that doesn't have the f word in every other sentence, and it could greatly expand your market to younger gamers from the age of 13-17 etc. And if any gamer would pass this by just because it isn't rated M, they're not a true gamer.
-
The developers don't rate the game. ESRB does. Or pegi.
-
I am aware, but they base it off what the developers put in it. I need this to be rated T.
-
Do your parents not allow you to play rated M games?
-
I play M games, but I have a younger cousin who can only play t games, and, I kind of feel bad for him. I think this game could still be great with a T rating
-
Oh, well if it is rated M, maybe your cousin should just explain to his parents that it's not going to be some GTA game full of curse words and nudity, or Gears of War with gore and overdone violence. He should explain why the game is rated what it is, and tell them he can handle it. If that doesn't work, he should show them gameplay videos so they can see first hand what Destiny is.
-
So he does read forums. Not like i wasnt believing you were. (looks around nervously)

You guys had me at "Become Legend."

DeeJ has spoken.
-
Excellent!
-
And that's what I've always loved about bungie
-
Hey there, Deej. Destiny will be what it will be. Knowing you guys, that's a good thought indeed.
-
Whether it's E or M I'm playing. That being said you don't need language, suggestive themes or nudity to make a great game, and that's what Bungie does they make great games.
-
Listen to this man!
-
All I care about is that there isn't too much language or suggestive themes, like you guys did in the original Halos. It was a good balance of language, gore, and stuff like that.

What ever the rating im buying

Edited by aSaferDestiny: 8/8/2013 12:38:49 AMI thought that in the contract with Activision it said that Destiny will target an ESRB: T+ and PEGI: 16+ rating... BUT: Destiny has its own Destiny. If its Teen so be it. If its Mature so be it. It is good that the game is being made just how it should be made, not with any qualifications. For all we know it will be C+ or A+. PS. Hi DeeJ XD
-
I like what you're communicating here Deej. I think Bungie should be able to make an E rated game if that's what they all want.
