Last July the ol' government owned Nurburgring went bankrupt, so now its up for sale. Getting a chance to lap the 'Ring in an M3, a Porsche or any other good handling fast car is one of my biggest dreams, so this worries me. I don't want it to be bought up by one of the big automakers and be taken off limit to the public or refusing to allow other automakers to develop cars there. Right now the Nurburgring lap times are the benchmark for how good a car is as a track car, but this could all change with one greedy owner. I honestly doubt I'll ever get a chance to drive here, but it'd be a shame if it was off limits to the average car enthusiast.
