What's the honest reason for it? I'm a bit disappointed.

Edited by CAMMCAM: 3/26/2013 1:57:18 PMI understand why there's a limit but there are at least 90 people on this site that I actually enjoy as individuals. When I type it out, it sounds CRAZY but.... it's true. When you discuss things with a number of the same people, damn near daily, you grow to appreciate them in some way. I realized the other day that I hit 100 and couldn't follow anyone else so I decided to trim it down. 10. That's it. 10 out of 100 people I was willing to unfollow.

Wait, there's a limit? How many?

Edited by Spawn: 3/26/2013 1:42:27 PMI asked the same question a couple days after the beta came out and this is what Achronos mentioned:
Posted by: Achronos There has to be some limit from a technical perspective, but the current limit is not a technical limitiation. For now, we picked a small limit because we don't want you to follow everyone. That makes following meaningless. We'll see how it plays out over time and adjust accordingly.
Keep in mind that was in January also, when we were in beta. Their line of thinking may have changed since then.

I'd guess something along the lines of 'Why would you need to follow more?" Same reason they only let you join 10 private groups now. They want you to 'focus' on certain things. Which I totally disagree with, but eh.
