I can't help but speculate that they sort of took some ideas for Reach for a test drive with ODST, re-adding health packs, night vision, co-op with other AI Spartans/ODST's, so I think it's reasonable to think that they may have taken space battle and travel for a test drive in Reach to put into Destiny, especially since it seemed like a lot of work for a 10 minuet section in one game.
I would certainly hope they they would greatly improve on the system they put into Reach of course, all I'm saying is that it may be a hint at what they are working on, for Destiny. Do you guys think that you will be able to explore space with your ship and have combat? or will it mainly be for quick travel between worlds?
I would also like to say that I seriously doubt that your spacecraft will strictly be for quick travel since they do allow customization, who would spend money on something that they never really use? But I think the question is what the extent that space travel will incorporate gameplay, in Halo:Destiny.
I believe space travel will be involved, though probably just in orbit, or in close proximity to points of intrust, like spacestations, asteroids, and moons. That way you don't spend hours of your life flying between point A and point B.
