Shana. She's tough, smart, and powerful, but she is still an innocent and somewhat naive girl with a fierce heart. Unlike most modern Tsundere, she actually changes as the series goes on, and both her background and her experiences give her good reason to. I love her character design and color palette as well, and I think the fact that there's a talking pendant on her neck enhances her design. She's just a really interesting character all around - much to the delight of the fanservice maniacs over at J.C. Staff. But hey - who's complaining? I just wish the rest of the show properly complemented her. It would have been incredible to see her supported by better written minor characters and more budget for animation. Once she got wings, the animators got lazy and decided to forego swordplay to save budget. But I'm happy to have been introduced to her and the show.
