Is a group of friends who always play together still a clan?
I mean, a bunch of guys who always play the game together, work as a team, plan strategies and stuff.
Don't really bother with ranks and all that jazz, but sometimes the best player is usually recognized as the unofficial leader.

If they want to be. You can still have a clan tag and clan emblem (except in halo 4 because you have to unlock them, i mean really?).
