Can we remove players in Destiny?

Because that would fix a whole lot of issues with AFKs, team killers, and trolls in general. Like an example you are playing and some one runs up and frags your vehicle then humps it to add insult to injury, you go into your Destiny menu and see who's running around your shared experience on whatever map or area your in and there's your culprit and you cut your connection. They can no longer see you and you can't see them. Think Fable 3 and the player spheres. Your ride respawns and you go your merry way. Would you want that ability? There title changed since the new mute option on bnet is being confused with normal mute.

  • I believe a feature like that will be in place, though I doubt you can block anyone. You can probably just 'avoid' them in your gamer profile settings. I am a lone wolf most of the time, but I know how valuable team playing will be when descending into the bowels of the hive.

    • Well, for one, we don't even know if there will be friendly fire/team killing in co-op mode. For 2, not sure how AFK people would even affect you, since they'd just load out when you left them.

      • I don't think that would be possible, because since it's an open world you don't have control over who you can see. You can't just remove a player from your area or the world. You aren't in your own party.

I know a better way to fix this problem. But, Bungie also has a good sense of how to matchmake; see the Reach system which gave you customizable options to choose what types of people you wanted to play with.

          • Gonna agree with Swat there. This was a silly question. Mute's been a feature in many games now, including previous Halo games. Hell, Bungie was one of the first companies to make muting easier.

            • ... ... ... ... Yes of course. No offense but that was a hell of a stupid question.
