The point itself is made around 3:00 but the bickering up until then is kind of funny(ish). This is something I think a lot of the conservative right just plain doesn't get when it comes to marriage, abortion, the death penalty, and many other issues. What do you guys think about the point? Do you think it's an accurate assessment, or do you think that one CAN cite the Bible and get away with it in the current political environment we have*? Why do you think that (whichever you chose)?

It's cute how many people see this as a "surprise". Bill O'Reilly is constantly shit on for mistakes he's made, but only because he's so conservative. He's a secular conservative, in that he believes in traditionalism outside of religion. What's my point? Every controversial news commentator says shit just as retarded as O'Reilly. It's just that the people who have the time to make these videos and post them on Youtube are of a younger, more liberal audience. If you don't agree with him socially, then alright. But listen to his take on how our political system should work, along with economics, and you won't think he's all that stupid.

As non 'murican, I'm not familiar with this "Bill O'Reilly" you are talking about, so All I can say is that he's right and that is a valid point

He's an alpha male rageahole.
-
He just doesn't let people talk, does he?
-
Despite appearances Bill is actually highly intelligent. Totally ignorant of science and somewhat bigoted on several points but he's usually fairly rational and knows how to manipulate his audience. Still don't care much for his show though since he mostly just yells and tries to discredit his opponent instead of having serious discussions.
-
I don't feel like watching it.

He is correct that you cannot/should not win policy debate via religious texts like the bible. As much as Bill wants to believe in a deity/things like the bible, it's almost refreshing to realize he understands this point at least. Teh puma is somewhat surprised.

Bill O'Rielly makes a lot of sensible points, it's just that the mainstream media likes to demonize him and only show his lesser moments.
