I'm fine with 7 for now. I won't post why as I'm likely to be banned.

Edited by welderman adam: 4/5/2013 10:20:58 AMI just got Windows 8 with this notebook I picked up a couple weeks ago. I don't know that I like it at all. I had XP, and was happy, until a "reformatting" error occured....I messed it up good....and broke the disc drive I guess I don't get why I have to dig to get to my desktop... And why do the tiles for camera not take me to the actual camera built in, but to some shit that takes video? And for that, where the hell is the camera option anyways? I can't find it anymore? I saw it at one point. And why does the E-mail tile refuse to find my e-mail, although it accepts my e-mail for my live account just fine? I do like the easy sync up to my xbox account though. But then, I hate that I can't play my pinball fx 2 tables on the pinball fx 2 version I downloaded with this... Perhaps I need to download a help manual... Or app tile, or some shit...

I love Windows 8. Granted there a couple annoyances here and there, but coming from Mac OSx 10.5 (leopard), it's a hell of an improvement.

Windows 7 is good enough, I think that's the reason why.
-
Vista? I thought that died out after 7 became common.
-
Gee, what's the news here?
-
Not surprising. It's not because windows 8 is a bad OS (far from it), but because we still have capable Operating systems that already handle the needs of basic computing. Hell, there are businesses and schools who haven't upgraded their OS from XP for the same reason. In this case, there aren't enough differences between 7 (even Vista) and 8 to warrant an upgrade.

Expected New Windows OS never boom into popularity. Windows 7 came out a while ago and are just recently being added to schools and offices. But most people also dont see the point in windows 8 especially since its just windows 7 with touch capabilities.

Burned.
