Are guys suppose to pee in the toilet water or on the side of the water?
Which are you suppose to do? It seems like the sides are more quiet but there's more of a splash back.
What do you guys do?

As the homeowner and the guy who normally has to do the cleaning - I aim at the side of the bowl. If you hit the water, too much splashes up and gets all over the rim of the bowl. Depending on where you aim, the sides don't give you much room for error, so I tend to go for the front of the bowl.
