So I live in a small community, but there's a cemetery a few miles away from my house. I feel I should have gardens around my house set up. Just in case some zombies tries to invade my house and eat my brain. The part of Pennsylvania I live in has farms. So I'm able to grow plants.
I'm not a plant expert by any means. For my home defense needs, I'm leaning towards an offensive plant set up. I'm hoping the Flood's more farmer/plant type members can offer some advice, suggestions and the best plants to use. Thanks.

Do you have a good wall defense set up? You should know your volume for sustainability. How many people will be fed? Whats your seasons like? Temperatures? Soils etc? Here is a short story about the zombie apocalypse, written by a woman survivalist, which deals with those issues, and others. Well not short, im on day 237 and its still going.

Make sure you invest in plenty of sunflowers, then you can get hordes of peashooters. I wouldn't go for mushrooms because none of them work in the daylight.
