Obligatory blog post:
I was in the car with my mother the other day, and we had somehow found ourselves on the topic of God. I don't recall all the specifics, but long story short, at one point she said "Atheists shouldn't even exist, it's just wrong." When I didn't immediately agree with her and instead defended an Atheist's right to simply form their own beliefs, she semi-freaked out and asked if I was Atheist in the most judgmental tone :/ I replied no, but I am a closet Atheist IRL.
I consider myself to be pretty tolerant of other people's beliefs ^^ After all, they're just that; beliefs. There's really no right or wrong answer, it's all a matter of opinion. I find it really saddening that there exist extremists within some religions, though, and it's kind of hard to be tolerant of those people specifically. As long as you're tolerant of me, I'll be tolerant of you :P

Edited by Milk: 4/13/2013 1:11:49 AMDepends on the religion. If you want to believe in a God go for it, just don't make it all you ever do or talk about. If you want to believe in something like Scientology, you're a -blam!-ing idiot.
