Should Destiny have a campaign?
At first I thought it would be cool to have no campaign, but no story to follow would make it boring. Please comment. :)

The game IS ALL CAMPAIGN dumbass. It's one, shared storyline with different paths to take that all of us guardians will share in one bigass world

They have a main story. But it's what your actions and what you do that affects the whole entire story. It's your personal legend.

Destiny in and of itself is a campaign.

i believe it will be like world of warcraft but much bigger on the story line that you follow. After all you are a guardian protecting earth from something that hit us. You can definitely expect a campaign.

think of it kinda like Skyrim. There's a main story that you can do and on the way you can complete quests that could change the fate of the story. I hope it can be like that.

I'm pretty sure there is an 100% chance of a campaign... they've already said things about the story.

What would the game be without a campaign? It would just be pointless. It has to have a story to make it feel awesome. Think about it not having a campaign. You would just be playing as some person for no reason, without any goal or anything.

3 RepliesIt's a always online world, it's a cross of a MMO and a FPS but not a MMOFPS. It's hard to lable but to say co-op and mutiplayer, the game is that already. Either you play ourself in the world, but will meet other players or you play in your group of friends and meet other groups of players or single players. I think you have misunderstood what Destiny is.
