Could America and Russia conquer the world together?
If America and Russia worked together could they conquer the world? No nukes.

If the US and Russia tried, they [i]might[/i] be able to, but it would be difficult to get over the sheer numbers that China and India have. Plus, China's one child policy has led to a huge boost of boys that are starting to approach the military age. Even with all of our tech, it wouldn't be easy to defeat what could easily be 1-1.5 billion troops, both professional troops and militia, that could emerge from India and China alone. Also think about how much the US imports, just from China alone. If we declared war on China, we would be in some serious trouble, financially. I'm not as familiar with Russia, but I don't think they are the military power they once were. During and soon after the world wars, they had the largest army in Europe, simply because they are massive (they were still agricultural, which meant families had a lot of kids to work in the fields, lots of kids means lots of soldiers), and being the second country with nukes secured their spot at the top, but now that there are so many nations with nukes, and your rules state no nukes, there isn't anything particularly special about Russia. Much of the country was hastily assembled during their rapid industrialization, and is crumbling. I also don't think Russia has a great sense of national pride like it used to, so it might not be as easy to motivate troops.

No, Russia wouldn't really help much...if this was US/UK or US/(China?) this might have been more interesting.

If you're talking purely militarily, in a Pokemon-battle sort of sense, the answer is obviously no for a number of reasons. If you're asking whether a US/RUS alliance could actually dominate the world with a series of clever maneuvers, some of which involve military forces... the answer might surprise you. Think energy markets.

Russia can't go 100 years without having to rebuild itself. America would have to do all the work.

Not to mention the fact that they had trouble maintaining command and control during a small conflict with the Georgia. France could kick their ass, for Allah's sake.

No. America and China could or America and a organized India but not America and Russia. Russia has a dwindling population and is only in the hundred million range now. Russia couldn't even win agains the US. Unless they use nukes.

Nope. The U.S. might have the best equipped, technology advanced military in the world, but when you take both Russia and U.S. population into account, they are both out numbered 14 to 1. So, in theory, the two would have to be able to take out 14 people for every one we they would lose. All the rest of the world has to do is keep charging. We will run out of all our fancy toys and munitions way before any significant damage was done to cripple them. I don't care who you are, 1 standard U.S. solider armed with an M4 vs. 14 international troops armed with even a bolt action rifle = one dead over killed solider.
