These are my first, feedback would be appreciated :) she's my original character, she'll has blue hair, but I can't think of a name for her. When I giver her a body she'll have a blue bikini on and blue boots.

Edited by Cal Carlson: 4/22/2013 10:27:22 PMCheck out some of the guides we have in the guides and tutorials section, it's pinned to our front page. For a start these are not bad, however if you want to really develop a skill for anime there should be some foundation work. It's dependent on if you're just scribbling for fun or if you actually want to becoming really good. It is hard to create a cohesive style without a foundation in the basics. Things like proportion, anatomy, and shading will be invaluable to you as an artist down the line. It's similar to music. You can't become an amazing musician by starting out trying to compose a full symphony or trying to create a full band album in garage band. You have to study and practice rhythm, mood, song writing, technical instrumental skills. I think you can become really good if you focus your time and talent in the right areas and in the right order!

The left eye (her right) seems off. Hard to say with only a head, but you should practice anatomy more before getting super stylistic. In any case post more stuff!

having never watched anime, I can't judge you on that aspect. The drawings are good though

Again, it doesn't look very anime-ish. More american cartoon style.

Reminds me of the early Sailor Moon. Just keep up with it, keep trying your best, because so far it looks pretty good. You just need to refine it some.

Edited by RANMAN10: 4/21/2013 10:48:16 PMIt's a good start, but I'd have to say it looks too American. Keep going! :D Remember to study other manga drawings! (The style is actually called manga, but is mistakenly referred to as anime by many. Anime is just the name for Japanese-styled cartoons/animations.)

I'd draw on plain paper, not lined. Much easier to see. But yeah so far looking good.

Edited by God: 4/21/2013 10:08:10 PMLooks a lot more like an american cartoon than an anime, the head should be taller, more anglular for the cheeks and chin, a taller more pointed nose and less circular eyes to look like anime.
