OK, I think we need to define persecution. Too many people in the theist/atheist debates think it means something it does not.
Most times either side is voicing an opinion of the other. Is having and/or voicing that opinion persecution?

Persecution is when people are mistreated for their beliefs.

And as for the England example, im betting more than likely they are Christians, as they tend to be more judgmental of other theists, especially muslims. Now, please give me an example of an atheist organization persecuting theists.

So you're saying that only your own heavily generalized view of theists can persecute against atheists? And that atheists are some sort of noble persona that will respect everyone's beliefs that are not theirs?
