Destiny: Hunter Vs Cabal
First Destiny thing I've ever done, I sort of made up my own variations of the Hunter and Cabal designs. Obviously the Cabal don't have gigantic blades but I was playing Metal Gear Rising at the time and this one scene was so cool I used it as a basis.
I hate using colour so I tend to stick with black outlines.
Tips for improving it? I am going to put it into GIMP.

1 ReplyThat's awesome, OP, but let's face it: you only "hate using colour" because you can't do it as well as you can draw the black outlines. Imagine how awesome your paintings will be after you practice using color! Great stuff!

7 RepliesAwesome action! I was just thinking about doing a scene with a huge Cabal in it. If you don't like color, try adding some tonal/shadding values to your line work. It will help to create more depth in your image. I too am not great at color. But with graphics software, it really isn't that scary to work with. Have fun in GIMP!
