I'm going to risk it and ask for your opinions. After nearly 5 years on Xbox Live and being a devoted fan, I still can't help but cringe at some of the horrid things the new Xbox is said to have. Clearly I will wait until a month or so after launch to see how things are going, but at the moment I'm leaning towards the PS4.
What do you guys think based from any PS3 experience you may have had? Was it fun? How was their community? What's the dashboard/starting screen like? How, if at all, would you compare it to an Xbox?
Lastly, if anyone else supports the idea of switching to a PS4 upon it's release is there anything you feel you'd be missing from the Xbox? I can't find much to lose by switching, other than not being able to play the next Halo's, not as much security, and having all my ranks/gamerscore/leaderboards/bragging rights from previous games.

I understand, some of the rumours for the Nextbox are pretty shitty. I never really liked the PS3 so I'm probably going to with Xbox, seeing as I have all of my game saves, DLC and other stuff on there.
