Wheatley: All right, so that last test was seriously disappointing. Apparently, being civil isn't motivating you, so let's try it her way, all right, fatty? Adopted... fatty! Fatty, fatty no parents? GLaDOS: And...? Wheatley: What? GLaDOS: What exactly is wrong with being adopted? Wheatley: What's wrong with being adopted? Um, well, uh, Lack of parents? GLaDOS: [to Chell] For the record, you are adopted and that's terrible. Just work with me. Wheatley: Some of my my best friends are actually orphans. GLaDOS: Also, look at her, you moron. She's not fat.
Made me lol hard. Portal 2 is the only game in which I could laugh about a line, and then get really poignant thinking about it later. I think it's my favourite game ever.

Edited by DE4THINC4RN4TE: 5/3/2013 11:19:24 PMFrom Halo: Reach. Jorge-052: "Bad news is, the timer's fried. I'm gonna have to fire it manually." Noble Six: "That's a one way trip." Jorge-052: "We all make it sooner or later. Better get going, Six, they're gonna need you down there. Listen, Reach has been good to me." Jorge removes his dogtags and gives them to Six. Jorge-052: "Time has come to return the favor. Don't deny me this." Jorge lifts Six up with one hand and carries him/her to the hangar's shield door, Six showing little resistance, view changes to Noble Six point of view, facing Jorge before him saying his final words to Six. Jorge-052: "Tell 'em to make it count." Jorge tosses Six out of the hangar into space. Six begins to fall back to Reach. After Noble Six has fallen some distance, Jorge activates the repurposed slipspace drive directly under the supercarrier.
It takes a strong man to deny what's right in front of him. And if the truth is undeniable, you create your own. The truth, Walker, is that you're here because you wanted to feel like something you're not: A hero. I'm here because you can't accept what you've done. It broke you. You needed someone to blame, so you cast it on me. A dead man. I know the truth is hard to hear Walker, but it's time. You're all that's left and we can't live this lie forever.
I know it's the same scene just set to a different difficulty but these two lines are easily my favorite lines in any video game.. "When I joined the Corps, we didn't have any fancy-schmanzy tanks. We had sticks! Two sticks, and a rock for the whole platoon—and we had to share the rock! Buck up, boy, you are one very lucky marine!" and "Usually, the good Lord works in mysterious ways. But not today! This here is 66 tons of straight-up, H.E-spewing dee-vine intervention! If God is love, then you can call me 'Cupid'!"
-
Pretty much every single line from Portal 2. -blam-ing loved that game.

"Speak quickly Outlander or go away."

Anything said by the Arbiter, the Prophets, and the Didact. Also: "I know what the ladies like." "War. War never changes."
